Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas - most likely ICU - as needed, but will only be required to perform skills within scope of practice. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.SHIFTS:12 hour varied position will mainly be Med/Surg but will also have to float to ICU when needed.Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. RNs ONLYRNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match. Additional Information:1. Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. 2.
