The licensed Medicare insurance agent will play an integral part of the success of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for daily sales while achieving a high-quality assurance rating and pay thru rate. The employee will need to be coachable and willing to learn.

Requirements:
- Assist customers in making Medicare healthcare decisions by carefully matching customers with the optimal products and services.
- Meet monthly sales and performance goals using compliant sales practices. This is a phone sales position. Upon completing training, you will use compliant sales practices to meet specific sales targets.
- Answer phone calls from customers and assist them in completing the appropriate applications and forms.
- Abide by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate fantastic customer service skills with a friendly and patient attitude.
- Remain compliant with all state continuing education requirements.
- Bilingual Spanish-English candidates with the ability to fluently communicate in writing and speech using both languages and the ability to pass a language assessment in English and Spanish encouraged to apply.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Active Resident State Health Insurance License
- High School Diploma
- Strong computer and internet skills specifically in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability and capacity to understand various products from multiple carriers to help consumers make the best decision
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of the Medicare System; previous Medicare sales experience.
- Strong computer and internet skills.
- Previous experience working remotely preferred.
- Knowledgeable in CMS and Health Care reform rules and regulations.
- Experience selling Individual and/or senior insurance products.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
- Motivated and Sales Driven.
- Strong desire to sell, energetic, and open minded.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and enthusiasm.
- The ability and capacity to understand various products from multiple carriers to help. consumers make the best decision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 10 pounds.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Must be able to sit for extended period of time.
