Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor (CPI Instructor) Responsibilities:
- As a crisis prevention institute instructor, you will train our staff on de-escalation and crisis prevention skills.
- You will provide training and support for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention for your facility.
- You will prepare and provide CPI training programs, including the facilitation of ancillary programs and presentations.
- You will serve as a resource of our Certified Instructors by providing consultation and needed materials.
- You will be required to visit facilities in person and meet with staff and Certified Instructors.
- You will perform other position-related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor (CPI Instructor) Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in the human services field
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- CPI Instructor Certification
- First Aid/CPR certified
- The ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
