Eastern Alloys in Maybrook, New York is seeking a talented Industrial Manufacturing Electrician with expertise in troubleshooting, installing, and repair of PLC control systems.
Preferred Candidate should possess the following skillset:
- Troubleshooting and repair of AC and DC control (VFD, PLC, Starter motor (s), burner management systems, encoders, limit switches, photocells etc.) systems.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA, NEC, and Electrical Safety Compliance.
- Ability to comprehend and complete assigned PM’s while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Don the appropriate PPE i.e., hard hat, safety glasses, arc flash gear etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as minimal to no supervision in completing repairs and projects.
- Adequately map projects, manage electrical inventory utilizing lean methodology (i.e., conduit, seal tight, electrical load centers etc.)
- Ability to obtain working knowledge of production equipment.
- 5+ years of 208 / 240 & 480V three phase experience a must.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment (i.e., Forklift, Manlift, Scissor lift, telehandler etc.)
