What you'll do:
The Training & Development Specialist will enhance the competencies of individual employees by organizing and conducting training programs that will boost employee's workplace performance in alliance with company's core values. Facilitate and deliver New Hire training programs for front-line representative employees including clerical, supervisory, technical, and lower-level management staff.

Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various skill, policy, and compliance areas.
- Acclimates new hires to the business and conducts orientation sessions
- Presents training and development programs focused on adult learning using various forms and formats including e-learning modules, group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
- Identifies training needs and collaborates solutions with the L&D team and subject matter experts.
- Assesses training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior. Suggests and arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores.
- Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.
Education/Skills/Experience required to be successful:
- Bachelors degree in Training and Development or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in training role, related field highly desired.
- Proven ability to master the full training cycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Problem solving, research, analytical and project management skills
- Sound decision making and organizational skills
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software desired.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Work effectively in both team and independent environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
