TIG Welder Position Summary:
This is an opportunity for the right person to join a dynamic team focusing on quality and performance to exceed our customers’ expectations. Some of the duties of a Welder are to operate equipment (e.g. calipers, rulers, ) to put together metal parts or structures. Current open positions include TIG welders.
TIG Welder Responsibilities: - Analyzing blueprints and designs
- Following all safety and healthy procedures to avoid accidents and hazards
- Operating angle grinders and other tools
- lining up specific metal components using calipers, rulers and clamps
- Produce quality in a efficient manner
TIG Welder Qualifications/Experience:
- Technical knowledge of equipment
- Must have 3 years of TIG welding experience on thin gauge steel
- Must have experience in sheet metal and the welding process
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, as well as weld symbols
- Ability to read calipers to verify part quality
- Own tools preferred
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00p.m. (OT as needed)
