Job purpose
The key priority of this position is to expedite the sales cycle by researching and connecting with key contacts at targeted companies to identify selling opportunities. Additionally, this person will be the first point of contact for inbound sales leads looking to partner with Keter Environmental Services and will serve as a qualifier before setting up appointments to speak with our sales team. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in connecting our marketing efforts with the sales team by identifying and qualifying potential leads.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Utilize various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking, to identify potential customers in need of waste management services.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop targeted lead lists and execute campaigns.
Lead Qualification:
- Conduct initial contact with leads to assess their needs, budget, and level of interest.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure they meet the company's ideal customer profile.
Appointment Setting:
- Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Maintain a well-organized calendar and communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of leads.
Sales Support:
- Provide sales representatives with valuable insights and information about leads to enhance their sales pitch.
- Assist in the preparation of sales materials and presentations.
CRM Management:
- Document all interactions with leads and maintain accurate records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Regularly update lead status and information to facilitate follow-up.
Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on lead generation and qualification metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales development efforts.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding the quality of leads generated.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role.
- Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with potential customers.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Results-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
- Ability to collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve common objectives.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and embrace new lead generation techniques and strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
