Job Description
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Global Finance Business Partner for CSL Seqirus Supply Chain and Network Strategy, you will provide financial insights and guidance to support the evaluation and prioritisation of Capital and OPEX projects focusing on both short- and long-term investment decision making to meet network capacity demands and drive improved operational efficiencies.
You will be the primary finance business partner to the Project Management Office (PMO), the CSLS Investment Review Board (SIRB) and the CSLS Capital Approvals Board (SCAG). You will partner with the business to prioritize projects and set financial budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial risks are appropriately identified and managed, and ensure financial performance of projects and portfolios against budgets and forecasts is tracked and fully understood. You will assist with preparation of Business Cases, including cost estimates and ROI calculations, and support the development of financial models for project evaluation and portfolio optimization and conduct scenario analysis to assess financial implications of various project and portfolio outcomes.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be responsible for providing Finance Business Partner support to the Holy Springs Site Engineering team and Capital Projects team for which you will have dotted line reporting responsibility to the Lead Finance Business Partner at the Holly Springs site.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to possess a combination of financial expertise, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
The Role:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and evaluate business cases and manage budgets for both Capital and OPEX projects.
- Monitor project financials and portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial guidelines.
- Provide accurate and timely financial projections to support decision-making, including insight into commitments and contingency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to align financial strategies with project objectives, and identify risks and opportunities relative to the organization's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and distribute papers to support proposals for presentation, review and approval.
- Review major project summaries and ensure existing projects are capitalized and post implementation reviews are completed in a timely manner.
Your Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- MBA beneficial.
- 7 years' relevant experience across Accounting/Finance/Business Partnering to at least manager level.
- Experience working within highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a high focus on delivery of financial targets.
- Exposure working in a Global environment.
- Ability to work well with tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment with multiple deliverables.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact with management at all levels.
