Job Summary: As an Assistant Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Banquet Manager in coordinating and supervising all banquet events. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction are met. You will be a key player in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing all banquet events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
- Supervise and train banquet staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all details are attended to.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related field degree preferred.
- Proven experience in banquet or event management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
