Job Description:
Position: Chemical Operator
Prepares railcars and sets up equipment according to prescribed instructions for the filling of drums and cylinders in a warehouse environment; operates automatic and semi-automatic production machines in the transferring of products; moves materials to production area for processing and moves finished product to storage area and shipping containers; performs housekeeping duties to maintain equipment and work area in sanitary condition. Depending on the applicant, may conduct order management activities including computer data entry and interacting with Customer Service Coordinators.
Qualifications:
- School diploma or equivalent required, with ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations, follow oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate with all levels of employees. Strong commitment to safety required. Must be able to lift 50-pound cylinders. Manufacturing and forklift experience desirable. Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical. Ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

COMPENSATION STATUS:
Non-Exempt ($17-25/Hourly) TBD on skillset
Hours: Weekdays 6am to 4:30pm
