Responsibilities:
MTSI is seeking a Software Lead – Materiel Release to provide software management and technical support to our Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office customer located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
15 years’ experience in Army software development, management, or material release.
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
Experience with several aspects of the Army Software Materiel Release (SMR) process to include:
Software Test Plans (STPs), Software Test Descriptions (STDs) and Software Test Reports (STRs)
Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Formal Qualification Test (FQT)
Change Control Boards (CCBs), defect tracking and prioritization
Flight Test and Ground Test of aviation and missile systems
AMCOM Safety, Hazard Analysis, System Software Safety Technical Review Panels (SSSTRPs)
Airworthiness Release (AWR) and certification
Technical Interface Meetings (TIMs) and software working groups
Experience collaborating with project and product office personnel
Experience reviewing and evaluating contractor deliverables
Strong communication skills and experience with technical briefings
Desired Skills:
Prior experience supporting an Army Project Office or Program Executive Office
Prior experience with Tube-launched, Optically tracked and Wire-guided (TOW) or similar guided missile systems
