Position Summary:
An Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of Reyes Holdings, LLC aircraft. This position will ensure that inspections, maintenance, and repair of the aircraft are conducted in accordance with Federal Air Regulations and the aircraft manufacturers' directives and bulletins.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Work as an effective member of the Reyes Holdings Global Flight Operations aviation team
- Working a varied schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Perform and document inspections, aircraft repair per standard, routine maintenance (all systems, including avionics)
- Respond to reported defects, troubleshooting, pre and post flight inspections
- Responsible for aircraft towing, fueling, de-fueling
- Ensuring that the aircraft s appearance and cleanliness is kept at a very high level
- All aspects of aircraft dispatching and return
- Aircraft Technicians are expected to operate independently in the execution of all work in accordance with FAA and company policy; this includes rigorous attention to detail and 100% compliance to all documentation requirements
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the hanger, shops, tools, specialty equipment, etc. All tools are provided
- Accompany the aircraft or travel to its location to perform or monitor maintenance activities as needed
- Ensuring that the passenger s automobiles are clean upon their arrival
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED with 3+ years of practical, hands-on experience as an aircraft technician
- Possess a valid FAA Airframe and Power plant license
- Valid driver's license
- FAA A&P license
- Capability to read and understand electrical schematic and mechanical drawings.
- Capability to read and follow technical publications related to aircraft
- Ability to effectively use a PC, including skill in WORD, Outlook, EXCEL, and web applications
- Must demonstrate hands on skills and capability with aviation tools
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn
- Respect a highly disciplined environment, attention to detail and standards
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Corporate aviation experience
- Factory training on types of airframes operated by Reyes Holdings
