A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PM DINING ROOM SOUS CHEF:
As a leader in our dining room kitchen, you are part of an a-la-carte culinary team that prepares elegant, upscale, and delicious meals. You are passionate about good food, helping your employees uphold our exceptional standards, and exceed our members' expectations. Each shift, you get the chance to oversee the preparation of expensive steaks and seafood as well as other meats, vegetables, sauces, and stocks. You ensure our kitchen members carefully follow recipes and work hard to ensure the quality, consistency, and timeliness of our food.
In addition to the proper food prep, you ensure our staff properly store and handle all products. You personally inspect food prep and serving areas regularly to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices. You love the camaraderie that comes with leading a cohesive culinary team in a tightly run kitchen.

Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time AM Dining Room Sous Chef. The typical work schedule is 2:00 pm to Close with Monday and one other variable day off.

Requirements:
- Four+ years of experience in a professional food preparation position, encompassing all phases of food service and kitchen operations
- Two+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory/management position
- Two- or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred
- Previous country club work experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
- Strong knife skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
