Keer America is seeking a purchasing assistant with great office and administrative skills. This person will be part of our administrative office team, focusing upon supporting our purchasing and office team. Focus to detail and a high level of motivation are essential for success in this role.
Experience is helpful but motivation, attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow is even more important.
Chinese language would be a strong plus in this role.
Key functions include:
- Work closely with purchasing agent
- Coordinate with existing vendors regarding order statuses.
- Work with warehouse and accounting staff to confirm and process invoices along with supporting documentation.
- Update warehouse staff on delivery status.
- Work at front desk at the administrative building, greeting visitors, signing for deliveries and maintain visitor log.
Important skills for success in this role include telephone skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word), Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization along with good verbal and written communication abilities.
The successful candidate will be expected to grow their knowledge of the purchasing and logistics fields, seek to take on new tasks and learn new skills.
