What we are looking for:
Word of Mouth Fine Catering is seeking a Bakery Production Manager. We look forward to working with you to elevate and sustain the level of food quality, service, and professionalism in our kitchens and operations. This will be a dynamic position that requires meticulous time management, inspired baking, speed, creativity, mentorship, and organization
What we are looking for:
- Oversee all bread production for wholesale and events
- Manage inventory and order responsibly to control cost
- Write weekly schedules that coincide with financial projections and labor goals
- Foster a positive work environment and continue to grow, build, and motivate the team
- Work with pastry and savory chefs to create new menu items that are relevant to the MML brand.
Requirements:
- Four years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering
- At least 3 years of previous high-level experience in a well-established restaurant
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience considered
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
