This position will a ssist the Pricing and Contracts process by consolidating and maintaining records of request types, products, and pricing offers in Bid Management System. Track bid wins and losses. It will export and create reports and analysis for Sales & Marketing department management based on product request history, bid frequency, outcomes of pricing offers, OTB results, etc.
Area of Responsibility:
- Aid in implementing and managing bid management tool for contract management including managing the updating periodically costs, customer formulary positions, business wins, losses retains, market share and ensure data is always reliable when used by Analysts.
- Work closely with Finance and Pricing team to ensure all discounts and rebates are appropriately captured and accounted in SAP Bid Management systems pre and post-closing.
- Maintain logs of system discrepancies for development team review and correction.
- Prepare and maintain records for pricing requests, analysis, offers, results and prepare weekly file to share the outcome of all significant wins and losses with management.
- Update SAP bid management system with offer details and outcomes.
- Prepare month PPT presentation with upper management
- Perform ad hoc analysis for win loss on bids or RFPs, products, customers, or other such combinations
- Monitor and track incoming requests to aid in identifying potential market disruptions.
- Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure bid management records are complete and up to date.
- Extract data from various databases using Business Intelligence tools and manipulate data using advanced Excel features such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc.
Education and Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-2 years' experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, IDN/health system pharmacies or pharmaceutical suppliers preferred.
- Experience in SAP systems and data manipulation beneficial.
- Knowledge of Basic Excel
- Knowledge of PowerPoint
The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $67,000 to $81,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
