Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Dallas, TX. As a CVICU RN, you will be responsible for providing specialised nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) setting.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
