Apply Now!The Technician's primary goal is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The Technician position will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles with integrity and ethics, and also maintaining a positive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactory work in accordance with dealership policies and standards.
Must be able to drive and operate vehicleExamine vehicle, diagnoses and, if needed discusses with Team Leader, or ASM as to the nature and extent of damage or malfunctionCommunicate additional service requests to the ASM for communication to clientPlan work procedure in cooperation with the Team LeaderProvide labor time estimate to the ASMMonitor repair time and update ASM on status often for client vehicles left for service, and for waiting clientsMaintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operationComplete story, or documentation for client repairsKnow and understand dealership computer systemAssist Technician TraineesWear approved safety glasses when in designated safety areasAdhere to dress code in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standardsKeep work area clean and tidy in accordance with dealership standardsAttend company and factory trainingKeep current with factory technical bulletinsShould be willing to obtain State Inspector license if not already completedKeeps current with manufacturer warranty requirementsUnderstand and follow Federal, State and local regulations such as disposal of hazardous wastesKnow and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and utilize the program to achieve client satisfactionKnow and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policy, and adhere to its requirementsAttend weekly department meetingsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a timeHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be at least eighteen years of ageMust have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirementsMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
