Pediatric Cardiology with Heart Failure and VAD WVU Medicine Children's Hospital Morgantown, West Virginia WVU School of Medicine and Pediatrics Department is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join a renowned team of aligned pediatric providers in cardiology, critical care, surgery and pulmonary at its new 150-bed Children's Hospital built in 2022. WVU Medicine is a tertiary care center for the state of West Virginia, Western Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Southeastern Ohio. Candidates must have completed an accredited pediatrics residency and an accredited cardiology fellowship program. The successful pediatric cardiologist will oversee and supervise the Heart Failure, Transplant, and the VAD program, as well as being actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Academic ranked positions of assistant professor, associate professor, and professor appointments are available. A pediatric cardiologist with a heart failure and VAD fellowship is highly desired. A Medical Directorship is available for the qualified candidate. Two years of post-pediatric cardiology experience is preferred. Pediatric transplant is not part of the service line, at this time. The pediatric cardiology program is supported by a dedicated cardiac intensive care unit staffed with healthcare professionals specifically trained in managing complex cardiac conditions.
