Surgical Attendant Full Time Evenings Position Summary
Provides for clean and safe operating room suite for patients and OR staff physicians. Position performs activities related to transportation of patients as directed. Collaborates with nursing staff to provide timely room turnovers and maintain OR daily schedule. Reviews order and stock supplies and assists in other areas as needed.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be able to work under deadlines. Must be able to utilize independent decision making skills in a wide variety of situations. Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers. Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
THE SURGICAL ATTENDANT FULL TIME EVENINGS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: one-year clinical experience, preferably in Operating Room setting.
