ResponsibilitiesNOW HIRING a Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team in Winchester, KY. Work schedule is Monday-Friday on dayshift.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Job Description:
- Direct daily purchase requisitions for maintenance activity. Department contact for vendor and suppliers for purchase orders and parts until receipt.
- Manage all maintenance fleet vehicles on a regular basis. Service, parts and repairs locally to maintain.
- Manage all Maintenance tools and cabinets for vending equipment and replacements of the tools.
- Able to work with maintenance team on projects as a resource to accomplish the tasks required.
- Ability to wire and populate panels and controls to support internal maintenance activity.
- Develop onsite registers for all oil waste captured for the campus and maintain a database for each location.
- Assist and develop MVP CMMS software to support maintenance goals and objectives with preventive and predictive maintenance activity. Further enhance the current usage and become an administrator.
- Work to improve maintenance support with knowledge for all areas of training. Designated department trainer for all new hires and current staffing in the maintenance department for the related topics.
- The ability to draw and dimension or reverse engineer components using AutoCAD or manually.
- The ability to fabricate, machine and weld general items to support projects internally.
- Learn to develop A3 documents to drive root cause analysis and implement improvements with data in regard to maintenance issues.
- Department lead for all safety observations and resolution for the campus safety program.
- Develop alternative parts or suppliers as need for continually failed components.
Qualifications:
- Must have maintenance or manufacturing experience and familiarity with components and equipment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD knowledge.
- General knowledge of machining equipment, fabrication, and welding equipment.
- Firsthand experience with electrical circuits and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Must be able to adjust working hours daily and weekly to ensure priorities are met.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work within a team and effectively communicate to other areas.
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in a manufacturing setting
- Inventory and or CMMS software experience a preferred.
Education:
- AS, BS, or other technical degree with a focus on Maintenance or Manufacturing is desired.
- General HS degree or equivalent.
