Position Summary:
Principle duties consists of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional examinations and studies such as both coronary and peripheral diagnostic angiograms, PCI’s (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), PTA’s (Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty). Monitors patients hemodynamically per department protocols and initiates appropriate interventions when indicated. Assessed patients before, during, and post- procedure, and documents accordingly. Prepares and educates patients and families prior to discharge. On-call required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Current California Registered Nurse License
Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (AHA certified)
Current ACLS certification (AHA certified)
Minimum two (2) years recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred
Pay range: $77.88 - $94.77 hourly
