Typical Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Compensation and Benefits: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience, ranging from $50,000 - $75,000.

Duties and Responsibilities Essential to the Job - including the following and any other duties that may be assigned as needed:
• Oversee, administer, and improve the safety program.
• Develop, update, and implement workplace safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Promote a proactive safety culture.
• Provide personnel with safety-related information such as training sessions, emergency protocols, PPE, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Ensure there is enough PPE in stock and order as necessary.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections to identify and remediate potentially unsafe conditions.
• Attend and monitor safety shutdowns.
• Monitor JSA program and ensure they are being completed daily for all jobsites. Update system software with JSA and other forms as needed.
• Job Hazard Analysis to be conducted upon request.
• In the event of a safety incident, responsible for ensuring that any affected employees receive prompt medical treatment. This includes arranging for immediate medical attention, documenting the incident, and following up with necessary procedures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, other safety directors, and employees.
• Conduct accident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure required paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Report findings to management. Work with human resources for the timely and accurate processing of workers' compensation initial claims.
• Ensure post-accident alcohol/drug test is completed and proper paperwork submitted.
• Send out weekly toolbox talk to employees.
• Attend monthly safety committee meetings through ABC or other meetings as deemed appropriate.
• Provide Project Managers with Site Specific Safety Plans, Safety Data Sheets, and employee training certificates for jobs when required.
• Document, maintain, and post OSHA records as required by regulation.
• Chair and coordinate the monthly state-certified safety committee meetings, and ensure proper minutes and records are maintained. Ensure safety committee members are selected and rotated on a routine basis.
• Organize, schedule, and conduct safety-related training as necessary. I.E. – MSHA, First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10/30.
• Complete safety section of performance reviews.
• Conduct new hire safety orientations. Issue PPE and explain the proper use. Utilize a standardized company checklist to ensure all topics are covered.
• Conduct safety orientation for new temporary workers.
• Plan and organize the company's annual Safety Day.
• Maintain and update company information on ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce.
• Ensure OSHA, STEP and AQC documents are completed on a yearly basis.
• Maintain/monitor all training completed by employees. If applicable, ensure reimbursement is made through WEDnet.
• Oversee company apprenticeship program. This includes monitoring the training and curriculum; selecting instructors and ensure they are properly paid; organizing outside training; ensuring the apprentices have the proper supplies (code books, laptops, workbooks, website access to Mike Holt); troubleshoot any issues with apprentices, technology, or curriculum; ensuring all the required paperwork is completed and sent to ABC; documenting and reporting OJT hours; notifying the Director of Operations when an apprentice reaches a milestone for a pay increase; sending all final grades and attendance to ABC; attending apprentice graduation.
• Work with Human Resources to attend job fairs, trade schools, and answer apprentice questions.
• Maintain electronic databases of vehicle registrations. Ensure yearly fuel tax and 2290 forms are completed. Monitor Enterprise website for recalls, and if maintenance requirements are being met. Update website as needed with new information.
• Maintain/monitor fuel card program. Add/delete employees as needed.
• Utilize JJ Keller website to document near misses, safety observations, or injuries.
• Monitor E-Z pass account by adding/deleting vehicles as necessary. Pay any E-Z pass violations.
• Maintain and monitor FordPass account
• Schedule CDL/DOT physicals
• Ensure First Aid kits are properly stocked and in compliance with current ANSI standards
• Ensure fire extinguishers are inspected every year and replaced as needed
• Inspect AED's each month and order new pads/batteries when required
Educational/Work Experience/Certifications
• Minimum five (5) years' electrical industry safety training experience required.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification, a plus.
• OSHA 500 certification, a plus.

Working Conditions of an EH&S - Safety/Training/Fleet Coordinator
• Office position, frequent computer use, repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Jobsite visits may require lifting not to exceed 50 pounds, standing, bending, or reaching for extended periods of time.
• Proper PPE is required for jobsite visits.
• Ability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Special Requirements of an EH&S - Safety/Training/Fleet Coordinator
• Must have a current, valid Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
• Travel on a regular basis to local, in-state, and possible out-of-state jobsites.
• Background checks, screenings, and physicals
• Conform to all Company policies and procedures.
Compensation details: 60000-75000 Yearly Salary
