Position Summary:
As the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our wholesale food distribution business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and develop strategies to maximize sales, enhance marketing initiatives, and optimize purchasing processes to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This will be a hybrid position and will require part of your time to be spent in the office in Harrisburg, PA.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the wholesale food industry.
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing coaching and support to drive individual and team success.
Ensure collaboration between the marketing, sales, and purchasing departments to develop and execute integrated purchasing, marketing, and sales campaigns that promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and generate qualified leads.
Oversee all aspects of the purchasing function, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, inventory management, and cost optimization to ensure product availability and competitiveness.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and make informed business decisions.
Foster strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners to enhance business partnerships and drive mutual success.
Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, marketing ROI, and purchasing KPIs to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including operations, finance, and logistics, to streamline processes, resolve issues, and achieve organizational goals.
Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation within the organization.
What You’re Proficient In:
Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in sales, marketing, and purchasing management roles within the wholesale B2B industry.
