RN CVICU Full Time Nights Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Adheres to the Core Values of Piedmont Medical Center Nursing Service. Participates in the Shared Governance Model and adheres to the by laws. Adheres to Piedmont Medical Center Code of Conduct and ANA Standards for the Professional Nurse. Competencies are met as defined by the Nursing department and Department of education.
THE RN CVICU FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Individuals must possess the ability to:
1. Perform each essential duty satisfactorily
2. Provide care utilizing the nursing process

Minimum Licensure and Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS required. ACLS required within orientation period.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification: Each candidate’s previous clinical experience is reviewed to determine acceptable experience. One year of telemetry experience preferred. CCRN preferred.
