Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
- Travel Experience: Not mandatory, but highly preferred
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
- Skills: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation. Preferably, Charge Nurse Experience.
- Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
- Certifications Required: ACLS AND NIHSS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: JOB DETAILS: - Target Ratios: 1:4
- Average Daily Census: 16
- Shift: NIGHTS
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to Critical Care for appropriate acuity, Telemetry, and/or medical-surgical. May need to float to COVID area with suitable acuity assignment. Traveler MUST be comfortable with this possibility.
- Weekend Requirement: At least 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: - Special Procedures / Unit Details: Admit new BiPaP, Optiflow, tracheostomy patients, and those on home vents ready for discharge. Common drips include Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin.
- Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR
- Unit Orientation: 24 hours
- Scrubs: Navy and/or White.
