Wonderful full-time practice opportunity for Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join well-established medical group in Phoenix, AZ.This highly regarded multi-specialty group is exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching for a safety-net health system serving one of the largest counties in AZ. The Urology Department staffs a community hospital with a State and American College of Surgeons designated Level 1 Trauma Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area, with State-of-the-art equipment, including endoscopic equipment, urodynamic lab and da Vinci surgical robotic system.The successful candidate will be appointed to the Department of Surgery with responsibilities relating to serving as a faculty member to its sponsored graduate medical education programs. The candidate will assist in developing the clinical service line, providing inpatient and outpatient general urology services in the elective and emergent care settings, shared call coverage and should be comfortable with a teamwork approach for patient management. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research activities and most importantly developing and growing our robotics program for urology patients.Required qualifications: The qualified candidate must have completed an accredited urology residency program, be board certified and/or board eligible and must be eligible for an unrestricted Arizona Medical license.
