Join our growing and compassionate Cardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to collaborate with our highly skilled team. IUHP Cardiology is a growing practice that has utilized APPs on the service line for 17 years.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Night Shift
- 3 13-hour shifts per week (6:00pm-7:00am)
- Rotating every third weekend
- 100% Inpatient
- Practice at Methodist Hospital collaborating with about 20 physicians and 6 APPs
- Autonomous role with strong collaborative support that involves inpatient cardiac care
Responsibilities
- Perform H&Ps for new admissions and consults overnight for all cardiology teams at Methodist (general, ACHD, Advanced Heart Failure, Interventional, and EP).
- Cover cross cover calls on all cardiology patients.
- Collaborate with attending MD's overnight via phone and in person to manage patients
- Collaborate with other services in the hospital to provide care to complex patients
Qualifications:
- Masters degree required
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA
- Cardiology APP experience preferred
- If new graduate, ICU/PCU RN experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required

Hospital Overview
