Tasks and Responsibilities
Assists with month-end close and financial reporting, year-end review documentation, annual budgeting, and fixed asset accounting
Provides technical assistance to AP/AR, including assisting with vendor/customer relations
Maintains customer and vendor files for accurate AR/AP entry, payment and reporting
Performs ad hoc analysis projects involving inventory, operations, cost control and forecasting
Creates custom reports from multiple company databases
Prepares commissions and expense reports
Files annual 1099 Forms as necessary
Prepares sales and use tax returns as necessary
Maintains intercompany financial entries
Performs inventory audit periodically with production and tooling for all inventory types.
Trains to be a back-up to enter and process biweekly payroll, verify preprocess data, validate post processing
Prepares responses to information requests from customers and vendors
Maintains standard costs for all raw materials and manufactured items
Provides reports and data in support of quarterly financial audits
Provides coaching and mentorship to other accountants
Exercises a higher level of autonomy with less supervision in their day to day responsibilities
Experience
Required
7 year(s): Experience in Accounting role
Preferred
1 year(s): Experience using IQMS and/or JDE to support a manufacturing environment
Education

Bachelors or better
