Parthenon Pavilion has a Director, Manager, Clinical Nurse Leader, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, Charge Nurse, Floor Nurse, mental health counselors and mental health technicians. We have active PT/OT/ST programs. We are attached to the medical hospital which allows us to have 24/7 access to pharmacy, rapid response, and other resources. We also have a Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) to help deescalate patients. Parthenon Pavilion has a medical team that rounds daily on the units. Starting in July, we will utilize psychiatry residents in addition to the primary psychologists and physician teams. Type of equipment: Alaris, tube feeding pumps, lift equipment, wheelchair scale, chair alarms Documentation system: MediTech Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend Floating policy: Rotational with all staff within Parthenon Pavilion Patient Experience requirements: preferably 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: RN, BLS and CPI Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Foley Catheter Care Central line care experience Must have: Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills Friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn High energy and positive approach to care Advanced skills needed: IV therapy initiation Procedures performed on unit: Since Parthenon Pavilion is attached to the medical center, most procedures are performed in the appropriate care areas or the patient may be temporarily transferred to the ED. The GEMS Model, developed by Teepa Snow, is the cornerstone of patient care. The staff on MCP are warm, inviting, and some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter.
