Broadband Technician II

Where you will work: This position will be based out of Astound's Millersville, MD office.
A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician II:
- Residential and Small Business Install and service/repair (data, video, phone) on customer premises
- Ensure/record correct RF and signal levels within specifications
- Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed
- Customer education and Quality delivery
- Achieve required training certification and safety requirements
- Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6+ months of satisfactory metrics OR 1+ years external telecommunications technician
- Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ladder; Hand or Power Tools; Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written); Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to climb a 28 foot ladder.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
