About the role:As an Assistant Hospital Manager in our established Emergency and Specialty hospital, you will be responsible for the following:
- Spend the majority of work hours on the clinic floor, interacting with and supporting all departments.
- Focus on staffing, workflows, training, and coaching.
- Onboard new staff.
- Assist teams with navigating daily challenges, including client and interpersonal concerns.
- Participate in clinical staff recruiting and interviews as necessary.
- Direct traffic on the clinic floor each day to ensure each department has what they need for patient care.
- Support and collaborate directly with department leads.
- Work closely with medical directors and the operations team to ensure day-to-day clinical operations meet expectations.
- Coach, manage, and develop a team of 5-10 clinical leads spanning multiple departments.
- Manage daily staffing levels, moving labor to increase efficiency and support departments with gaps in staffing.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Assist leads in implementing training plans and updating SOPs for every department.
- Help train all employees to advance their clinical skill sets.
- Create effective onboarding plans for all new employees and track their progress.
- Oversee leads to ensure they proactively create schedules for all departments and effectively manage call-outs.
- Act as the primary source of information, maintain consistency, and take corrective action when needed.
- Partner with Hospital Managers and MDs to assist with process improvement projects.
- Partner with the hospital manager on regulatory compliance mandates.
- Ensure the hospital provides a top-tier client experience.
- Any other duties as assigned
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 annually. This position is full-time and is considered exempt.Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.
Basic requirements:- CA RVT license highly preferred
- 5+ years of management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating others
- Willingness and ability to work in multiple different departments
