We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met and care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Unit. • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. • Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR). • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. • Current RN license in State . • Minimum of X years of experience in a medical-surgical setting. • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred. • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • High level of professionalism, compassion, and patient-centered care.
