Program Summary:
St. David's Center is regional leader in child and family development. We offer therapeutic, educational, and support services, including mental health and pediatric therapies, autism treatment, home visiting, an inclusive preschool, and disability services. Over 4,000 children and families access these services at our two early intervention centers in Minneapolis and Minnetonka, more than 30 partner sites, and hundreds of homes across the community.
We provide a continuum of relationship-based mental health services for nearly 2,000 children ages birth to adolescence and their families, including those impacted by trauma and early adversity, engaging them at home, in the community, and in center-based treatment programs.
Our Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Program is an intensive individual service for preschool children between the ages of 2 and 6 (dependent upon program focus and developmental ages of children in the program) diagnosed with autism or a related conditions, ADHD, PTSD/Trauma, Mood Disorders, etc. , aimed at improving social communication, emotional regulation, interpersonal interaction, learning, play, safety, and self-care. Clients attend the program weekdays to receive relationship-based treatment. This treatment may include speech and occupational therapy. All therapies are integrated and work collaboratively. Our EIDBI treatment utilizes the Greenspan Floortime, Developmental Repair, and SCERTS intervention models. Families in the program receive a variety of family support services.
We are seeking a Preschool Mental Health Provider - EIDBI Direct Provider (Level I or II) to perform the following essential functions:
Position Overview:
• Provide intervention services as determined necessary in the client's evaluations and identified in the client's ITP, with fidelity to the treatment method(s) necessary to promote progress on targeted goals and objectives.
• Participate in developing and modifying the client's ITP.
• Ensure the individual treatment plan (ITP) and all services provided take into consideration the client's and family's values, goals, preferences, culture, and language.
• Participate in monitoring the client's progress on targeted goals, objectives, and treatment outcomes, including data collection.
• Participate in the client's coordinated care conference as needed. Participate in team meetings.
• Provide family/caregiver training and counseling, as identified in the client's ITP.
• Provide observation and direction to level II or III providers, as identified in the client's ITP.
• Document all services provided in the client's case notes.
• Receive required clinical supervision and intervention observation and direction.

Compensation and Benefits
Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for this position starts at $49,870 to $66,050 a year, depending on qualifications (i.e., education and experience). Please inquire with interest. Bachelor's level: $49,870- $55,411
Master's level (non-clinical): $53,140 - $59,045
Master's level (seeking clinical licensure): $59,760 - $66,050
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, child development, or related fields (e.g., mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, health science, education, sociology, nursing, human services, counseling, family studies)
• 1,000 hours+ of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition (ADHD, mood disorder, diagnoses related to development, trauma, and attachment).
• Basic computer skills - familiarity with Word and Excel
Qualifications Preferred:
• Master's degree in behavioral health, child development or related fields (e.g., mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, health science, education, sociology, nursing, human services, counseling, family studies)
• An EIDBI Level I Provider working as a Clinical Trainee must be complying with requirements for licensure as a mental health professional, including supervised practice in the delivery of mental health services for the treatment of mental illness.
• 2,000 hours+ of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition (ADHD, mood disorder, diagnoses related to development, trauma, and attachment).
• Training in Greenspan Floortime
• 2 full years providing mental health therapy to children with mental health disorders
• Familiarity with electronic health records
• Familiarity with family systems, child development, developmental psychopathology, attachment theory, developmental disabilities, child abuse, neglect, and trauma, DSM V diagnostic categories, and strategies for supporting families at risk
• Strong clinical skills and diverse family system knowledge particularly with families having children with mental health issues
• Strong professional documentation skills
