Position Summary:
This role functions as the leader/manager for their assigned Physician Practice/location. Responsible for all Operations, Finance, and other medical and business management duties. Assists Physician Practice Director in all aspects of Physician Practices functions and other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field; or equivalent experience.
Workplace Experience:
At least three years of experience in a physician practice. Billing/collections, front and back office procedures/policies experience preferred. Demonstrate leadership, managerial ability and good interpersonal skills.
Equipment and Skills Training:
Strong Computer Skills, Communication and Presentation Skills required. Demonstrated ability to self-direct, meet deadlines and support Physician Groups.
Physical Environment:
Physician and Clinical setting/environment.
Physical Effort:
Requires the ability to communicate proficiently; oral and written. Requires prolonged standing and working up to twelve hours if needed. Requires the ability to lift minimal amounts (20-25 lbs).
Job Summary:
Assists Physician Practice Director with physician Billing and Collections and ensures accounts are handled promptly
Responsible for the financial and budget report for specific physician practice location(s).
Oversees HR duties for their specific practice(s) to include recruiting, employee relations, terminations and performance management in partnership with Human Resources.
Participates in and contributes to Policy development for Physician Practices.
Responsible for ensuring all Credentials and Licenses are current along with the support from appropriate hospital departments.
Responsible for staff evaluations to be completed and submitted on time according to WHMG standards
Facilitates staff development, assists with the orientation and training of new personnel, and participates in the development and instruction for annual competency, evaluations and educational programs for co-workers.
Maintains compliance of office equipment/medical equipment maintenance agreements.
Respond to patient complaints in a timely manner.
Assists in conducting Physician Practice meetings as needed for hospital updates, policy changes, etc.
Maintains accurate and appropriate payroll reporting and staff scheduling.
Improve performance with regard to patient/employee satisfaction scores.
Analyze and develop monthly patient revenue/production, quality assurance and provide feedback to staff.
Assists Physician Practice Director with business development of current and/or future physician practices.
Performs other duties as assigned by director and independently seeks out job duties to further benefit patient services while meeting the bottom line.
