About the position
Position / Specialty: CT Tech
The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician
Shift: Friday-Sunday 7p-730a
Is on-call REQ? Yes - call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6a

National Certs REQ: ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS also required.
Minimum Training and Education: Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation.
Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
BLS REQ: Yes

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Special Requirements: We perform inpatient, ER and scheduled interventional cases (Saturday only). Required skills: be able to start IV, Contrast, Biopsies, PACS system.
