Job Title: RN - Radiology
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Duties: As an RN in radiology, you will be responsible for the following essential functions:
- Collecting data relevant to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identifying expected outcomes and developing individualized plans.
- Implementing plans, coordinating care, and promoting health and safety.
- Delegating elements of care as appropriate within legal or policy parameters.
- Evaluating progress towards goals and outcomes.
- Practicing in a culturally diverse and inclusive manner.
- Communicating effectively across all areas of practice.
- Collaborating with healthcare consumers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrating leadership within the profession and professional practice setting.
- Seeking knowledge and competence in current nursing practice.
- Integrating evidence and research findings into practice.
- Contributing to quality nursing practice and evaluation.
- Utilizing appropriate resources for evidence-based, safe, effective, and fiscally responsible nursing services.
- Practicing ethically and promoting shared governance.
Physical Requirements: - Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must speak English in good, understandable terms.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
- Finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
Skills: - Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to American Heart Association.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of work and residence.
- For the National License Compact (NLC) state residents, meet licensure requirements in home state; for Non-NLC states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse is required in the state of work.
Education: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
