RN-OPERATING ROOM JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse in the Peri-Operative area is responsible for the preoperative nursing care of population specific care/requirements for surgical and endoscopic patients. They must be competent in assessment of appropriate behavior, motor skills, and physiological/psychological norms.
Expected practice behaviors include assessment, planning, and implementation of preoperative nursing interventions and evaluation.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current California RN License required. Graduate from a school of nursing with either ADN or BSN degree (preferred). Minimum of 1 year of recent experience (within 18 months) in an acute care hospital's operating room. Must have current ACLS and BLS Certifications from the American Heart Association & NIHSS/Stroke Scale Certification . CNOR certification preferred. Must be computer-literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel). Familiarity with and experience with EMR. Good communication skills required. Able to work effectively in stressful situations.

PAY / BENEFITS
Estimated pay: $55.00 to $63.35 per hour based on qualifications (including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and licensure where applicable).
