Regional Medical Center has an excellent Cardiothoracic and Vascular opportunity. We are a 358-bed, acute care hospital that features an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Accredited Cancer Center newly renovated Emergency department, 32-bed open ICU, 16-bed cardiac critical care unit and we are proudly a part of the UK Stroke Affiliate Network. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we have capabilities to do a wide variety of cases and in addition to our two cath labs, we plan on adding a third lab in the near future.
Our Cardiovascular and Thoracic team includes one Cardiothoracic Surgeon who is Vascular trained and four Interventional Cardiologists on staff, three of which perform vascular procedures on a regular basis. We provide a newly renovated clinic space with full ancillary staff for all our physicians. We also have a team of general and interventional cardiologists who are located at our other facilities. We do provide outreach clinics to our patients to provide the utmost quality of care throughout our communities.
