We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager to join our Individual Services Team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge of GAAP, Tax Law and Tax Compliance. Responsibilities
- Reviews: key complex returns for risks and for opportunities to provide additional services
- Understands and can respond to difficult IRS and State Tax notices
- Developing budgets for processing returns
- Performs and documents research of complex tax issues using all of the research tools available
- Able to prepare and review C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, Qualified Plans, International Tax, Estate and Gift Tax, and Individual tax returns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 7+ years of public experience
- Must hold CPA license
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a unique client needs driven practice
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer software applications
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written format. A strong command of the English language and grammar is necessary
