EMS Liaison ED FT Days Summary
The EMS Outreach Coordinator is responsible for field and administrative work, which includes: Providing clinical and operational information to designated parties; Managing communication with outside facilities (including EMS facilities, urgent cares, skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, doctor's offices, etc.); Organizing, promoting, conducting, and attending educational events;
Responsibilities
The liaison between the hospital and outside facilities, including EMS
Arrange educational events for hospital healthcare community
Track the project and maintain business line marketing calendars
Maintain tracking software
Maintain calendars and client resource information
Outreach to EMS agencies and EMS professionals as designated through internal routing or by leadership
Outreach to referring patient facilities and key decision makers as designated through internal routing or by leadership
THE EMS LIAISON ED FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Emergency Medical Technician Program.
Preferred: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Experience
Required: 3 - 5 years of EMT Experience
Preferred: 2 years of nursing experience
Certifications
Required: Emergency Medical Technician certification and licensure of EMT-B,or EMPT-P
Preferred: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice nursing profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
