Job Description and Responsibilities As a Vehicle Processor, you'll be a part of our mission to recycle discarded automobiles. Your role will involve dismantling, salvaging, and recycling components from scrapped vehicles, contributing to a sustainable future while ensuring efficient operations.

- Drain appropriate automobile fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, etc.) to assist with the processing of vehicles
- Remove the catalytic converter from vehicles as needed
- Notifies appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities
- Keeps work area clean
- Observes and follows all safety rules and regulations
- Remove tires and rims from vehicles
- Work with customers bringing in scrapped vehicles
- Performs other duties as they might be assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part environment will be considered an asset
- Ability to push, pull and lift materials up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of varying automotive components
- Ability to document and record keep of scrapped vehicle parts
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling
- Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions including hot, dry summer conditions and cold, harsh winter conditions
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Previous customer service experience
Compensation: $17-19/hr based upon experience
