Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

Job Location: 6021 Connection Drive, Irving, Texas 75039 and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Full life cycle support of client's database(s). Responsible for database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning. Design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes. Responsible for quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime in database environment. Upgrade the database from lower versions to 19c and resolve the issues after the upgrade. Tune the queries using various tools to improve the performance. Administer, manage and tune high-transaction production server environment(s). Switchover the databases in dataguard env as needed and test the connectivity after the switchover.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Experience must include one year in each of the following:
1. DB Creation
2. DB upgrade
3. DB Migration
4. Patching
5. Performance Tuning
6. OEM, TOAD and sqldeveloper
7. Backup and recovery
8. RAC
9. Dataguard
10. Root cause analysis
Must be available to work in various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
