Travel Requirements:
- Will need 2 consecutive weeks per month minimum if requiring flights.
Shift Details:
- 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- 2 consecutive weeks per month
- One week will be Monday-Friday with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours guaranteed.
- The second week will be 2 x 24-hour shifts, totaling 48 hours guaranteed. Lunches paid.
Schedule:
- Locums will receive their schedule for 6 weeks at a time.
Work Details:
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Continuous full-time coverage, 40 hours per week.
- Patient population/age: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric. 90%+ of the patients are over the age of 12.
- Department description:
- Number of operating rooms: 17 MOR, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endo, radiology.
- Supervision-based anesthesia. Independent work at Nampa location.
- EMR: EPIC
- Hospital bed size: 378
- Skills required:
- Gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, Endo, Interventional radiology, MRI.
- Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases.
- CRNAs will not perform their own Regional Anesthesia/Blocks but do perform Spinal Blocks.
- Occasionally perform arterial lines (not a requirement).
- No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB.
- No epidurals or central lines for locums.
