Job Summary
- The Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) I is accountable for performing radiological procedures as directed.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department, from birth through geriatric population.
Education and/or Experience
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.
- Preferred Education of Associates Degree
Required License/Certification/Registration
- Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Day, Evening, and Night shifts
- Occasional weekend
- Occasional holiday
- Occasional call time
