As patient registration professionals, we are often the first point of contact for our patients and their families. As such, we value portraying an important first impression. We are diligent in obtaining complete and accurate insurance and demographic information in a timely manner. This enables us to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare service to all who need them, regardless of their ability to pay. Point of service collections assist both the patient and the facility to honor our dedication to fiscal responsibility.
We are seeking an energetic candidate for our Admitting Department. The perfect candidate will facilitate the patient admission flow, including patient identification, accurate demographics, obtain all required signatures and documents. Candidate will be responsible for insurance authorization, notification, and verification of benefits in order to obtain accurate and prompt reimbursement. Additional duties include providing information and answering questions about payment assistance, point of service collections, and compliance with HIPAA and EMTALA.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ year of customer service related experience
- 1+ year of knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to determine and communicate patient financial responsibility

- Excellent organization, inter-personal, communication, and phone skills
