The Enterprise Services Business Risk Office provides risk management support to several lines of business including: Tech, Enterprise Product & Experience, Brand, Enterprise Supplier Management, Capital One Ventures, External Affairs, Capital One Software (COS) and Emerging Payments. As a Risk Guide supporting Emerging Payments, you will partner with colleagues across Emerging Payment product, design and tech to deliver results that have a direct impact on customer experience and implement risk solutions to ensure Capital One’s continued stability and success. You will work with exciting new products, such as AirKey, Paze, Google Autofill, and more.

This role operates within a dynamic environment with changing conditions and a core component of success is building relationships and influencing decision makers with grounded information. In this role you’ll need to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Emerging Payments team in the development and execution of the Emerging Payments risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
Partner with the Emerging Payments Risk team and the Emerging Payments Product and Tech team to deliver on the identification and development of risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.
Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives
Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups
Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.
Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in presenting to senior leadership
At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
At least 2 of experience in Process, Project, or Risk Management, or Audit
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in risk management for compliance or technology business areas
1+ years of Project or process management experience in a cross functional environment
Professional certifications within risk management or assurance (Certified Risk Management Professional, Certified Internal Auditor).
