Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator Import/Export is a full-time entry-level position supporting the Operations teams in air and ocean transport. Responsibilities include all aspects of transportation, including communication with the office/agent, customs, and the client. Ensures quality follow-up of import/export shipments; communicates thoroughly both internally and externally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and process ocean/air import/export documents.
- Coordinate and arrange shipping freight with our Overseas and US agents and partners.
- Track cargo from origin to the final destination; check shipment status, PODs and charges, follow up shipments for final ETA date.
- Provide exceptional Customer Service.
- Communicate with Airlines/Steamship lines.
- Create invoices.
- Process/arrange payments.
- Support and maintain the Quality System (ISO) by working closely with management, sales, and/or operations to ensure goals and objectives are met regarding the function(s) of this position.
- Ensure adherence to procedures for any issues of non-conformance that could or do directly affect the success of the Quality System.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to learn various computer programs including freight forwarding software.
Qualifications:
- Experience in international logistics operations and customer service is desired but not essential.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
