What You Will Do:
Raytheon, an RTX business, is looking for a Principal Signal Processing Engineer to join our systems team. Our Engineers provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, defining system interfaces. In this role, you will provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering program. To succeed in this role, you must have software development lifecycle experience using the Agile methodology, experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and/or RF domain experience, experience with digital communications and be familiar with Algorithm development. The position is for the Aurora, CO, location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Providing Algorithm development and prototypes
- Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
- Interacting with customers and end-users
- Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- TS/SCI
- Experience in Algorithm development
- Experience in SIGINT and/or Digital communications
- Experience in the RF domain
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiar with Xmidas
- Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
- Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
- Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
