Position Purpose:
- Responsible for delivering high quality health care during all aspects of diagnostic and interventional catheterization, both cardiac and peripheral.
- Delivers care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation, and patient education and discharge planning needs.
- Interacts with patients, physicians, health care team members and vendors while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- Reports to the Director of Cardio-Vascular Services.
Position Requirements:
- Current/Active RN license
- Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
- BLS & ACLS certifications through ARC or AHA
- 2-5 years’ (critical care) experience required

(In lieu of the 2 years of experience in diagnostic and coronary Interventional Cath Lab experience, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse critical care experience and complete peripheral training onsite and 500 additional hours of Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab training at another facility.)
